Surviving the Festive Season: Menopause, Women, and AlcoholÂ
The festive season can fill your calendar long before Christmas arrives. From end-of-year work functions to family gatherings and catch-ups with friends, the invitations—and the offers of another drink—can keep coming.
Alongside the celebrations, there can also be stress, complicated family dynamics and pressure to keep everyone happy. If you’re navigating perimenopause or menopause, it can feel like a lot to manage.
Perhaps you’ve noticed yourself drinking more than you intended. Perhaps you’re wondering how to cut back without missing out. Or perhaps you’d simply like to head into the season with a clearer plan.
Join Myma Health and Dr Merissa Cappetta, Specialist General Practitioner and Staff Specialist in Addiction Medicine, for a free, supportive webinar to help you pause, reflect and prepare for the months ahead.
With more than 15 years’ experience helping people navigate alcohol and drug use, Merissa brings a warm, non-judgemental approach to a topic that can sometimes feel difficult to discuss.
There’s no pressure to commit to a particular approach. This is an opportunity to understand what influences your drinking, explore your options and build practical strategies that fit your life.
